  • Build positive, trusting relationships that help individuals feel safe, valued and at home.
  • Provide personalised support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs, respecting each person's unique preferences and routines.
  • Safely administer medication in line with individual care plans and professional guidance.
  • Encourage participation in hobbies, community activities and meaningful experiences that enrich everyday life.
  • Prepare nutritious meals that reflect individual tastes and dietary needs.
  • Support positive behaviour through patience, understanding and person-centred approaches.

  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs would be an advantage.
  • A caring, patient and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others, is essential.
  • A full UK driving licence is required, as supporting people to access their community is an important part of the role.
